Digital Science and Wiley announce an agreement that will provide Dimensions Analytics to hundreds of users across the organization. Dimensions delivers powerful metrics and analytical tools that enable publishers to monitor the research landscape, shape publication strategy, and gain actionable business intelligence insights. Wiley also utilizes a custom data implementation from Dimensions to integrate data directly into their data warehouse, which will provide access to the underlying data as well as a business logic layer as well.
The Dimensions platform brings together more than 100 million publications, $1.5 trillion of awarded research grants, 460,000 clinical trials, 38 million patents, 420,000 policy documents, and their associated metrics.
“Wiley is delighted to strengthen its relationships with Digital Science. Our mission has always focused on helping our customers succeed, and our partnership with Digital Science strengthens our purpose. The underlying Dimensions data allied with our deep subject knowledge of the academic ecosystem, enable insightful, faster, analytics alongside predictive capabilities, all of which enable us to better support our customers and lead to better outcomes”, said Jay Flynn, Chief Product Officer for Research at Wiley.
