We are pleased to announce the transfer of the journal Toxicology Research from our journals portfolio to Oxford University Press (OUP).
Toxicology Research, the official journal of the British Toxicology Society and the Chinese Society of Toxicology, publishes multidisciplinary high-impact research in fundamental, translational and applied areas of toxicology.
The journal will join OUP’s world-class science portfolio starting with the 2020 volume. Access to all Toxicology Research articles published until the end of 2019 remains unaffected for all Royal Society of Chemistry Gold customers.
Dr Emma Wilson, Royal Society of Chemistry director of publishing, said: “Toxicology Research continues to publish excellent, innovative research, though after careful review of our core journals content, we feel that the partner societies and their community will be best supported by a publisher with a wider toxicology portfolio and focus.
“After successfully completing the deal with OUP with the invaluable assistance of Bertoli Mitchell LLP, we wish Toxicology Research all the best for the future in its new home.”
Professor Heather Wallace, Editor in Chief of Toxicology Research, says: “We are excited that Toxicology Research is entering a new phase in its development and are delighted to be joining the OUP portfolio of journals. We believe this will enhance the journal.”
Jennifer Paxton-Boyd, Executive Publisher, Oxford University Press, said: “We are delighted to welcome Toxicology Research into the OUP portfolio, and look forward to working with the editorial team to continue the journal’s excellent record in publishing innovative research for the toxicology community.”
Oxford University Press are in discussions with the British Toxicology Society and the Chinese Society of Toxicology regarding their future relationship.
