OCLC GmbH announced today that Sebastian Müller has joined the organization as its new Sales Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He takes over the role previously held by Andreas Schmidt, who became General Manager in July.
Dr. Müller has extensive experience in the technology industry, having worked in sales and marketing for software companies focused primarily on business to business applications. He is a promoted political scientist with a focus on economics and international politics, in particular development cooperation. He has previously worked for the Apple subsidiary Filemaker Inc., which specialises in software that enables users to create and run custom apps that work on the Apple platform. Most recently, he worked for Ex Libris, the library automation company.
