Today, STM released a new white paper — Generative AI in Scholarly Communications: Ethical and Practical Guidelines for the Use of Generative AI in the Publication Process. A followup to AI Ethics in Scholarly Communication which STM released in April 2021, this new publication is a resource for stakeholders in scholarly publishing and addresses the increasingly significant role of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies.
