Moving from a role as executive director of corporate services at the University of Sheffield,  Fraser-Krauss replaces Paul Feldman, who is retiring after more than six years at the helm.

The MIT Press, the NorthEast Research Libraries (NERL), and the Center for Research Libraries (CRL) announced that NERL will handle the central licensing and invoicing for MIT Press’ Direct to Open (D2O) for NERL and CRL member libraries.

Karger Publishers is adopting the Plan S-aligned ‘Transformative Journal’ model for a growing number of journals, acting on its commitment to accelerate the transition to Open Access (OA). 

Karger Publishers and ChronosHub launch partnership to further support the Open Science movement. The partnership will play a central role in supporting the transition to Open Science for Karger Publishers’ authors and institutional customers through a simplified user experience.

As an international trade association, ALPSP supports and represents not-for-profit organizations that publish scholarly and professional content, as well as those that work with them.  ALPSP members are very supportive of open access and have already taken and continue to take significant steps to ensure that as much content as possible is published on an open access basis.
