RCN Publishing announced today that they have entered into an agreement with Turpin Distribution to provide fulfilment services for their institutional customers including order processing, customer service and payment collection.
RCN Publishing publishes leading nursing journals such as Nursing Standard, Nursing Management, Mental Health Practice, Nurse Researcher and Nursing Children and Young People. The publisher recently moved onto the Atypon platform to facilitate institutional access to its journal portfolio and provide a better user experience. Today’s announcement further cements its commitment to provide the best possible access for every user, regardless of their location.
Speaking of the agreement, Tony O’Rourke, Commercial Director, said “RCN Publishing recognised that in order to serve institutional customers effectively, we first wanted to provide a platform that had the capabilities, features and functionality that libraries need in order to efficiently serve their patrons. Moving to the Atypon Literatum platform achieves this, and now our attention has turned to providing a more efficient customer service for our institutional customers. Turpin Distribution has a wealth of experience spanning more than 40 years in helping publishers fulfil their institutional sales. We are confident that they will become a valued partner and will significantly support our institutional customers in providing excellent fulfilment and distribution services for our online and printed journals. We are very pleased to announce our partnership and look forward to working with the Turpin Distribution team.”
