Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of a new journal, Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering (JECE). The new online-only journal is specifically geared towards scientific communities that are highly committed to advancing research in environmental sustainability by bridging two strong fields: engineering and chemistry.
Published four times a year, the Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering provides a forum for the publication of original research on the development of creative new solutions to global crises in water research, pollution prevention, waste management, environmental safety, and green chemistry with an emphasis on technologies that are cost-effective and sustainable.
“We are very excited about the launch of JECE. The editorial team and respective colleagues on the advisory board have positioned the journal to highlight topical areas that focus on environmental sustainability -an issue of great global concern,” said Lily Khidr PhD, Publisher at Elsevier. “We hope that with the publication of this journal the topic will engage interest and ignite collective responsibility of academics across all fields to explore new ways of keeping our world clean and healthy for future generations.”
Throughout 2013 papers published in JECE will be made freely available online in ScienceDirect.
