SAGE is delighted to have been chosen by the EEG and Clinical Neuroscience Society (ECNS) to publish Clinical EEG and Neuroscience, beginning in January 2012.
Clinical EEG and Neuroscience is currently ranked by Thomson Reuters with an impact factor of 1.325, and is listed in MEDLINE. The journal supports the association’s mission to disseminate clinically relevant research and advance development in electroencephalography (EEG) and neuroscience. Joining the SAGE journal family means that Clinical EEG and Neuroscience will be available through SAGE Journals Online and authors will be able to submit articles for review through SAGE Track.
“We chose SAGE as our new publisher for many reasons: provision of online submission, online review, and online publication; reduced costs; increased circulation and profile; online management of membership and subscriber files; and world-wide promotion,” said Dr. Norman C. Moore, Chief Editor of Clinical EEG and Neuroscience. “We have a good journal, and want the world to know about it. SAGE can facilitate this by increased online discoverability, cross-promotion with other SAGE journals and books, conference attendance, social media, newsletters and free trials. We are confident that all of this will increase our Impact Factor.”
The EEG and Clinical Neuroscience Society (ECNS) an international scientific and educational organization dedicated to disseminating knowledge regarding the latest scientific advances in the various fields of electrophysiology as they relate to the understanding, treatment, and prevention of neurobehavioral disorders.
“Partnering with a publisher can help associations concentrate their efforts on gathering the best research that meets their mission,” said Bob Howard, SAGE Executive Director, US Journals. “SAGE helps organizations like the EEG and Clinical Neuroscience Society by disseminating their work to not only their members, but also greater audiences. We look forward to working with them to grow their presence in this important field.”
