Kudos, the platform for showcasing research, has today announced a new partnership with Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (J&J). J&J have selected Kudos to amplify the reach and educational impact of publications and other outputs about clinical trials. Kudos will create clinical Story pages – effectively, microsites comprising plain language summaries of clinical trials, linked to peer reviewed journal articles, and to other article extenders and educational materials. Stories will be clustered into Showcases for specific diseases or therapy areas.
Ashwini Dhume, Director of Medical Affairs at J&J, highlighted the importance of this initiative, saying, “J&J research is helping to treat patients earlier in the disease process, improving outcomes and enhancing quality of life. Along with publishing our clinical trial results in scientific papers, we also create a range of educational materials for healthcare professionals. Our challenge, in a crowded and rapidly evolving medical information landscape, is making sure this content is reaching healthcare professionals. We’re excited to be working with Kudos to bring all these critical outputs together into one place to help tell the story of our research and make then as accessible and discoverable as possible. Kudos provides a quick and easy way to do this.”
J&J’s microsites on Kudos will initially target audiences in the US before rolling the partnership out globally. Kudos will provide comprehensive metrics about discoverability and readership, bringing unique insights to J&J on both the profile of readers and the channels they are using.
Kudos provides an authoritative and high-trust environment for showcasing research content, with a registration base of half a million of the world’s top researchers. Kudos has an established client base of world-leading publishers and universities and is expanding its partnerships with Life Science companies.
