CABI is pleased to announce that CABI Agriculture and Bioscience will be published by CABI from 1 January 2025. It has been successfully managed by BioMed Central (BMC) in collaboration with CABI since the journal was launched in June 2020. The time is right for CABI Agriculture and Bioscience to take its place alongside CABI’s other journals on the CABI Digital Library launched in July 2022. CABI Digital Library offers a wealth of resources (over 15 million records) relating to agriculture, the environment and the applied life sciences.
“We are grateful to colleagues at BMC who have looked after our leading, open access journal,” commented Andy Robinson, Managing Director, CABI Publishing. “CABI now has a specialist journals team in place, led by Erika Newton, and we are eager to develop our growing journals portfolio to its full potential.”
Niklaus Grünwald, Editor-in-Chief, added “As Editor-in-Chief, my focus will remain on authors and reviewers to make sure the transfer is as smooth as possible. I feel sure CABI Agriculture and Bioscience will benefit from CABI’s expertise in agriculture and the environment and that it will continue going from strength-to-strength.”
CABI endorses the Transfer Code of Practice and will follow the best practice guidelines set out in the Code for the transfer of CABI Agriculture and Bioscience. Librarians and other interested parties may like to consult theTransfer Alerting Service and sign up for notifications including in relation to this transfer.
