Silverchair and the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNSF) announced a new partnership to develop a medical education platform for residents and beyond.
AAO-HNSF sought to enhance its already high standards for education by partnering with Silverchair. The new product will support residency training program directors with a standardized, unified two-year curriculum covering 100 topics. It also will benefit the global otolaryngology community by helping raise the standard of patient care.
“This new education product will reflect the growing need for personalized education offerings tailored to the needs of modern learners,” said Will Schweitzer, Silverchair CEO. “Silverchair has been actively engaged over the last decade with developing highly-tailored digital education and certification products, helping organizations continue to add value for their members and their medical specialty.”
“We look forward to working with Silverchair to bring forward our new game-changing education product, the Otolaryngology Core Curriculum (OCC),” said James C. Denneny III, MD, AAO-HNSF Executive Vice President and CEO. “The OCC is a compendium of continually updated didactic information covering the breadth of knowledge in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery through a standardized, versatile curriculum designed to support otolaryngology residents in training, practicing otolaryngologists, and their advanced practice providers and staff.”
