Silverchair and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) announced today the extension of their strategic product development partnership, as well as plans to significantly upgrade the flagship American Journal of Occupational Therapy (AJOT) publication on the Silverchair Platform.
Hosted on the Silverchair Platform since 2013, AJOT is a peer-reviewed journal focusing on research, practice, and health care issues in the field of occupational therapy. The new website will bring the journal and its branding up to date with the most modern version of Silverchair’s tools and platform, as well as provide AOTA staff the power to update their website, create new content, and launch collections all without Silverchair intervention.
“We are delighted to continue our partnership with AOTA, the leader in advancing the quality, availability, use, and support of occupational therapy,” said Thane Kerner, Silverchair CEO. “The new AJOT site will improve the experience for the many users who rely on it, while giving AOTA greater flexibility, agility, and independence.”
“The continuation of our partnership with Silverchair directly supports AOTA’s commitment to empowering our members through digital transformation,” said Sherry Keramidas, PhD, FASAE, CAE, Executive Director of AOTA. “The ability to apply this intuitive technology to AJOT will serve as a catalyst in accessibility and utilization of this important resource for students, educators, and practitioners alike.”
