De Gruyter Open is pleased to announce that it has become the publisher of the Forum of Clinical Oncology. The mission of the journal is to provide an enhanced educational opportunity to physicians treating patients with neoplastic diseases and to serve researchers as an essential communication tool and valuable knowledge resource for the community.
The Forum of Clinical Oncology is the quarterly chief publication of the Hellenic Society of Medical Oncology (HeSMO), and is dedicated to the ever-expanding spectrum of cancer research. It publishes original and translational research articles relevant to diagnosis and treatment, state-of-the-art reviews, case reports, research articles, statements of opinion and comments – all related to clinical practice and basic research. As an international journal, FCO places special focus on the Balkans and the Mediterranean area, to foster the communication and exchange of information and to promote collaboration between practicing clinicians and basic research scientists. The journal reflects the Society’s aim to advance clinically-relevant knowledge of cancer.
Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Athens, the Hellenic Society of Medical Oncology promotes and fosters the exchange of current information and ideas related to clinical research, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The Society actively seeks to improve the care of patients with oncological diseases.
