Global academic publisher, Emerald Group Publishing, and The Latin American Council of Management Schools, CLADEA, have opened the 2014 Research Fund Award for Latin America. The winner will receive a £2,000 (approximately US$3000) research grant to fund a Latin American research project in the field of management research.
In support of Emerald’s aim to link research and practice to the benefit of society, applications for the Research Fund Award are encouraged to address issues for the social good, with a specific orientation towards benefitting Latin America. To be eligible, at least one member of the research team must be either a Latin American national or be based in Latin America. The closing date for applications is 1 July 2014.
The winner will be announced at the CLADEA conference, to be held in Barcelona, Spain and hosted by ESADE Business School from 3-5 September 2014. In addition to the cash prize, it is also hoped that once the research is completed, its findings will be published in one of Emerald’s management research titles. A number of Highly Commended awards are also expected to be bestowed for exceptional submissions
